Company G-1 is the winner of this year’s competition for best start-up companies. The award ceremony was held on the sidelines of the 29th International Entrepreneur Conference PODIM in Maribor. G-1 dedicates itself to the development and application of simple technologies for the usage of alternative energy sources in the automobile industry. They have also developed their own system for gas powered cars which they patented in July and received a certificate, enabling them to sell their invention abroad.

G-1 is developing an international sales network and plans to finally penetrate foreign markets this year. It is worth noting that Mirko Tus recapitalized the company. The General Manager and the co-founder of G-1 Simon Strancar received the prize worth EUR 10,000.
